These paintings are not records of how things look.
They are attempts to capture how things feel — from the inside. The interior quality of experience. The light that moves through consciousness at the threshold of ordinary perception.

I work from direct experience — states encountered through meditation and altered states of consciousness. Not as illustration of those experiences, but as a visual equivalent. A Polaroid of a frequency. A snapshot of awareness itself — that aspect of consciousness which remains present even as the sense of self dissolves, beyond the boundaries of space and time.

The Renaissance painters believed they could bring heaven to earth — that the act of painting was a crossing, a reaching across the veil between the seen and unseen. That conviction made their craft masterful and their work moving. I believe the same impulse is alive now. We are living through another renaissance — a convergence of ancient wisdom and direct human experience pointing toward the same threshold. These paintings are my attempt to document it.
